Our Priestesses and Priests

Victoria Chance, H. Ps. has been involved with magic her whole life and has been a priestess for over 22 years. She serves the Conclave of the Craft as President of the Board of Directors and High Priestess of both the Conclave proper and of Naofa Tintean, a Conclave working group. She also serves the community as Treasurer of Hearthfires Mid-Missouri Pagan Spiritual Alliance, a community organization based in Columbia, MO. She studied informally through family customs and traditions as she grew up, but she first studied formally under Bronwyn Forbes of Holly and Ivy Grove in 2001, where she was recognized as a priestess. She later studied British Traditional Wicca with Dragonstone Coven in 2003 and was initiated to the first degree in 2001, the second degree in 2003 and the third degree in 2006. She also studied with Susan Stoddard of Pagan Temple of Arkansas for several years beginning in 2000 and was elevated to clergy status in that organization by Susan and her brother JoMichael Stoddard in 2012. She has presented numerous workshops over the years, including appearances at Pagan Picnic in St. Louis, Heartland Pagan Festival in McLouth, Kansas, and Pan Pagan Festival in Knox, Indiana. Previously, she served as facilitator of Hearthfires and head of clergy for Oak Spirit Sanctuary (previously called Ozark Avalon) in Boonville, MO. Her special interests include shamanic techniques, clergy training, and ending sexual harassment and predation in our community. She graduated with honors with bachelor’s degrees in Cultural History with a minor in English (Mythology) and Secondary Education with a minor in History from Columbia College in 2001 and completed 24 hours of master’s coursework in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL) at Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She maintains Missouri state teaching licensure in English, social sciences, and special education.

Amy Rhea, Ps. has been practicing the Craft since 1999, both in coven and as a solitary practitioner. She serves Conclave of the Craft as Vice-President of the Board of Directors, and she is high priestess of Coven Morannwn, a Conclave working group. She first studied under H. Salyx Suit and Rune Kai S. of Circle Fey and received initiation to the first degree in 2003. She later apprenticed under Susan Stoddard of Pagan Temple of Arkansas (a congregation of First Temple of the Craft of W.I.C.A.) and was elevated to clergy status in 2011 by Susan and her brother JoMichael Stoddard. In 2016, she was initiated to the second degree by Victoria Chance and Alex Gonzalez of Naofa Tintean (a Conclave working group). She has presented workshops and rituals at events including Pagan Picnic in St. Louis, Goddess Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Pan Pagan Festival in Knox, Indiana. Her special interests include historical and folkloric witchcraft, sacred sexuality, and clergy training. She received a bachelor’s degree in Professional and Technical Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2016 and anticipates a master’s degree in the same discipline in May 2018.
